A household is its people. Below are members of House Corvus, each known within the Society by a chosen persona — a medieval identity drawn from a particular time and place. Follow a name to read that member's story, interests, awards, and personal heraldry.

How to Read a Persona

Every persona answers a few medieval questions: Who are you? When and where do you live? What is your craft? A persona is not a costume worn for a weekend but a long, joyful research project — a way to learn a century deeply by trying to inhabit it. Some of our members are Norse, some Scots or Welsh, some Italian, Spanish, or English; their personas span roughly the eighth through the sixteenth centuries.

The Household

These are members of House Corvus. Each maintains a page with their persona background, their interests in the Society, the awards and offices they have earned, and the device or badge by which they are known upon the field.

The roster above is a representative selection of the household; in its long history House Corvus has counted dozens of members, drawn from across the Kingdom of Atlantia.

Awards, Orders, and Offices

You will see honours mentioned on member pages. In brief: an Award of Arms grants a member the right to bear a registered coat of arms and the style of "Lord" or "Lady." Grant- and Patent-level awards recognise greater achievement; the highest, the peerages — including the title "Master" or "Mistress" — honour a lifetime of excellence in the arts, in service, in the rapier, or in chivalry. The Society's award structure is documented in the SCA's governing documents.

Joining the Roster

New members are welcome. If you have attended a few events and feel at home at our fire, speak with us; membership in a household is a matter of mutual friendship rather than application. Begin by reading about the household and reaching out through our contact form.
