At events throughout A.S. LIII (53) and LIV (54), House Corvus will be recognizing outstanding heraldic display at SCA events throughout the Known World with Heraldry Prize ribbons. Inspirational heraldic display of any type is eligible – banners, garb, boxes, or entire encampments. Prize ribbons will be accompanied by this information card explaining the prize (we just think your display is awesome!!!) and also to give recipients of a Heraldry Prize a chance at winning an overall Grand Prize featuring their own heraldry.

An overall Grand Prize drawing will take place of all Heraldry Prize winners who return their filled out contact information form given with their prize (how else will we know if you want to win!). Persons winning multiple Heraldry Prizes over the course of the year may fill out additional entries - one card and therefore one chance will be given for each win. The Grand Prize will be a custom-made, heraldic cloak featuring the winner’s personal arms!

You can follow the House Corvus Heraldry Prize winners and events online at: http://www.housecorvus.org/heraldryprize.htm or on Facebook under House Corvus Heraldry Prize. Please join us in celebrating outstanding heraldic display in the Society!

$1000 prize winner named!

Lady Nem Inghean Dochartaigh
Grand Prize

1 Limit of one competition in Atlantia per month. One Atlantian event plus one non-Atlantian event, max.

2 The SCA does not award cash prizes. The Decameron Purse awards are solely and privately provided by House Corvus. First Place award is $100. Second Place award is $75. Third Place award is $50. While these awards don't begin to cover the expenses SCA artisans continually expend on projects that benefit the entirety of the SCA, the members of House Corvus wish to encourage and support the continued excellence demonstrated by the SCA's arts and sciences community.

3 Winner need not be present to win.

4 Members of House Corvus are eligible to enter any Decameron-affiliated A&S competition so long as none of the judges for that competition are in House Corvus.
