When Lady Etain Cenlis Mor won Bran's final Mabinogi event on 10/28/00, he offered as the prize a week long trip to Ireland. The original plan was to go in February '01, but passports, timing, and airfares never really coalesced until November '02. But, Etain's patience resulted in a wonderful opportunity for all House Corvus.

A trip was put together that offered Corvites a sampling of much of Southern Ireland's heritage. From November 11-18, 2002, Lady Etain and her friends in House Corvus traveled the roads of Eire in an adventure that touched the souls of all who went.

Keeping costs as reasonable as possible, we experimented with staying at B&B's throughout Ireland rather than our usual medieval lodgings. What fun! Every place we stayed was incredibly hospitable and it actually added a great sense of intimacy and local charm to the trip. Indeed, the whole week was the essence of what the various Corvus tours are all about. It was also a reminder that, while everyone in House Corvus might not be able to go on some of these trips physically, we carry the entire household in our hearts when we do go.
